I AM A FULL TIME ARTIST AND A MEMBER OF THE JEKYLL ISLAND ART ASSOCIATION, THE FLORIDA ARTIST REGISTRY AND THE WORLD ARTIST REGISTRY.

I began my passion for art at around age 3. I drew stick people on every brown paper bag left unattended. I progressed to scraps of notebook paper. When I could not find anything else to draw on, I used a stick and drew in the dirt at the edge of the garden. I guess you could say I was obsessed. Now, many more years later ( more years than I care to reveal) I am still obsessed with art.
I paint for the pure joy of it. People like my artwork, so I was able to turn a passion into a career. I have created commissioned works for many private clients. I have painted a cover page for North Florida Living Magazine, illustrated a children's book, designed many posters
for local events and created art works for local charity auctions.
I live in South Georgia, so I have ample access to inspirational landscapes, seascapes and wildlife. I have combined my passion to paint with the Bob Ross technique of Wet-on-Wet painting to create paintings of the beauty that surrounds me, and also to teach others to paint.
I have added two new areas to my art studio and the first is art classes. I am a Bob Ross certified instructor. I teach Bob's wet-on-wet style of painting. I love this style which permits me to complete a painting in one day. I trained in Florida with instructor Carol Bernards. Carol is a brilliant teacher and a wonderful artist.
